Booking & Agreement

By booking any service with Hoshi Joell, you agree to the following terms and conditions. These terms are designed to ensure a seamless, professional, and respectful working relationship.

1. Payment & Retainers

  • A non-refundable retainer (50%) is required to secure all bookings.

  • The remaining balance must be paid no later than 24 hours before the scheduled shoot.

  • Bookings are not confirmed until the retainer is received.

  • Same-day or rush bookings may require full payment upfront.

2. Rescheduling & Cancellations

  • Clients may reschedule once with at least 48 hours notice.

  • Reschedules within 48 hours may require a new retainer.

  • Cancellations result in forfeiture of the retainer.

  • No-shows will be charged 100% of the session fee.

3. Late Policy

  • A 15-minute grace period is provided.

  • After 15 minutes, a late fee of $50 may be applied.

  • After 30 minutes, the session may be canceled or shortened without refund.

4. Deliverables & Turnaround

  • Standard turnaround time is 7-14 business days unless otherwise stated.

  • Expedited delivery is available for an additional fee.

  • Final deliverables are provided via a digital gallery or download link.

  • RAW/unedited files are not included and are not released.

5. Creative Direction & Editing

  • By booking, you acknowledge and trust Hoshi Joell’s creative direction, shooting style, and editing aesthetic.

  • Minor revision requests may be honored at discretion.

  • Extensive edits or reworks may incur additional charges.

6. Usage & Licensing

  • All content is owned by Hoshi Joell.

  • Clients receive a non-exclusive license for agreed-upon usage (social media, web, etc.).

  • Content may not be resold, altered, or used for commercial campaigns without proper licensing.

  • Brand/commercial usage requires a separate licensing agreement.

7. Credit & Promotion

  • Credit is appreciated where applicable: @HoshiJoell.

  • Hoshi Joell reserves the right to use all content for portfolio, website, and promotional purposes unless otherwise agreed in writing.

8. Client Responsibility

  • Clients are responsible for arriving on time and prepared.

  • Any delays caused by the client will reduce shooting time.

  • Location access, permits, and permissions must be secured by the client unless discussed prior.

9. Liability

  • Hoshi Joell is not responsible for:

    • Weather conditions

    • Location restrictions

    • Third-party disruptions

  • In the rare event of equipment failure or unforeseen circumstances, liability is limited to refund of payments made.

10. Add-Ons & Overtime

  • Additional time is billed at hourly rate.

  • Add-ons (extra edits, rush delivery, additional content) must be requested and paid for separately.

11. Respect & Professional Conduct

  • A respectful working environment is required at all times.

  • Any inappropriate behavior may result in immediate termination of the session without refund.

12. Agreement

By completing a booking, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to these terms.
